Net Dynamics

The Kingdom is as a Net

Matt. 13:47 “…the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a net that was cast into the sea (humanity) and gathered of every kind.”

Mark 1:16-20 16 “…He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea…” ( to fling with sudden motion, deliberate) 17 “…Come after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.” (I will teach you to use the spiritual net: The Kingdom) 18 “ And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed Him.” (They left their nets for a higher purpose)  19 “…He saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.”(to completely, thoroughly repair, adjust, to make perfectly joined together, to restore…to become effective, useful, and purposeful) 20” And straightway He called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after Him.” (they left their nets in the hands of the hired servants)

Luke 5:2 “And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing [their] nets.

  1. They were called with the net in their hands.
  2. Their earthly business helped prepare and identify their true spiritual apostolic call and function.

  3. Marketplace Apostles must be skilled with the net (Kingdom Dynamics)

Casters – those that are excited about the catch.  They know how and where to cast the net to be most productive. These are those who are definitely interested in sales, new territories, challenges they exist and thrive in the energy of the catch.

Menders – those that know how the net works, and is made.  They are skilled at mending, and making the net functional and useful.  These are the technical, service people in your organization that keep the net up to date with the best service.

Washers– those skilled in the maintenance of the net. Keeping it in functional use these are the relationship builders in your organization.

Whether you express the Kingdom through church life or the Marketplace your (Net) is your most valuable asset. The net represents everything about your company and culture and values. It is the life function for the whole business or church. As you develop your own net then you begin to synergize with others and create a network. I believe your Network makes the Net Work!

Either way you must identify these three key positions, the washer, the mender, and the caster. It is your job as the leader to identify, equip, and empower these people in these specific fields. If you successfully have all three of these areas tended to properly you have a great opportunity for success. We have a whole training on this subject available in the tools menu soon.
